What is a Course-in-a-Box? It’s a set of products designed to cover all the necessities in a program so you don’t need to do an unreasonable amount of planning.
Here's what our Medication Aide Course-in-a-Box includes:
- Paperback ChartFlow’s Medication Aide Handbook for the number of students selected (10, 20, 48, or 96). To be used as a textbook for MA-C, QMAP and Medication Technician courses.
- Access to ChartFlow's realistic EHR including an orders section and electronic medication administration record (eMAR).
- 10 hours of skills lab activity plans included, 2.5 hours of virtual labs. These are already set up in ChartFlow.
- A set of simulation medications that line up with our lesson plans and prebuilt patients including simulated oral tablets in pill bottles, oral tablets in blister packs, topical cream, and liquid. Oral medications are not for human consumption (the topical cream is a hand cream).
- An outline of how our course-in-a-box matches the NCSBN Model Curriculum for Medication Aide programs. Many states use this as a guide for their Medication Aide requirements so it’s easy to copy our products into your own curriculum.
- Additional equipment including gloves, gowns, medicine cups, medication trays, and a barcode scanner.
- Free study tools like flashcards for students.
- Training from ChartFlow on how to use our digital platform to complement your students' experience.
